Hungarian Ball

Last Saturday I participated in the so expected Hungarian Ball, organised by arcFAM, a non governmental organisation and whose profit will revert to charity. It took place in Concert Noble and counted with the participation of many important people, including around 40 of us trainees.

It was a very nice event to attend, everyone looked gorgeous in their dresses and suits and we danced throughout the night (after the traditional dances there was a band playing and singing more modern songs). There were always things going on and the night flew fast. It was great to have been able to be in this sort of event, not so common for me, here in Brussels.

  1. What about the purpose of the event? It was not supposed to have a charity goal and not provide only the occasion to dance in fancy dresses ?

  2. Is there a reason why 40 trainees went there?
Somehow connected to a sub-committee or something?

    1. No, it was because they needed help on the organization of the ball and so made available 40 tickets for a reduced price for trainees, who, on exchange, were attributed some tasks to perform during that day and night.

  3. Mariana, looks like you had some fun that evening, which is also important as a volunteer. Thank you for sharing your experience and photos with you and your dress.
